Michael has worked in inbound marketing since 2006, starting in ecommerce SEO copyediting. He started managing SEO programs in 2011.

Michael's been a natural analyst since he was a kid. From the Sunday paper he charted pro baseball batting averages across his bedroom wall to predict game winners. A decade ago, Michael began coordinating SEO programs, elevating the visibility of industry leaders.

Michael has overseen SEO programs for five of the world's top 500 Internet retailers. Before these, Michael served as SEO Coordinator at Motorcycle Superstore, managing the corporate SEO program earning over $40 million per year, driving over a million unique organic search visitors a month.

Back in 2006-2010, Michael managed the SEO Web Copywriting team for Musician's Friend, a top-50 Internet retailer at that time, posting Web product copy for Guitar Center and Musician's Friend websites, among others.

Over the past decade as SEO project manager, Michael has transitioned from Motorcycle Superstore to Matrix Premier to 180 Marketing to the SEO Matrix Rising enterprise.

Throughout these agencies, Michael has managed SEO strategy, analysis, and implementation for over 60 companies - small, mid-sized and enterprise - driving increases in traffic, conversions, and revenue.

Ecommerce SEO has been a primary focus of Michael’s SEO work - for clients and employers - since 2011. Michael's experience has spanned a broad range of SEO skills across a wide spectrum of industries.

In the inbound marketing world, Michael has served as SEO writer and editor, analyst, and strategist and is well-versed in technical SEO, on- and off-page SEO, content marketing, site architecture and usability, internal and external linking tactics, reporting, critical evaluation, and client communication.
